About Me

Christian Aubert

Christian Aubert, originally from Paris, has lived in the United States for over 40 years. He began his artistic career as a series regular on the French television show Rue Carnot before moving to New York City to pursue stage acting. Later, in Los Angeles, he transitioned into film and television, performing alongside notable actors such as Dennis Hopper, Denzel Washington, John Goodman, and Woody Harrelson.

In parallel with his acting career, Mr. Aubert became an educator. He taught acting for five years in New York and authored A New Approach to Acting Foundations, which earned him a prestigious Leonard de Vinci grant from the French Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

During the 2000 actors’ strike, he began teaching French at the Beverly Hills Language Institute. Dissatisfied with traditional methods, he developed a hands-on, immersive approach to language instruction. His French learning CDs and software achieved wide visibility, frequently appearing on the first page of Amazon.com before the 2009 recession.

His most recent work, Student Manifesto: The Power of Paying Kids to Learn, brings together decades of reflection on education and performance. He argues that effective learning is impossible without comfort, confidence, safety, and happiness—a philosophy rooted in both classroom and stage experience.

Today, Christian Aubert is focused on educational innovation. He is developing both large-scale and classroom-level solutions to help students and teachers thrive in a system designed to support human potential.
